Workout Enthusiasts: Stay Motivated by Literally Wearing Inspiration
How do you stay motivated to get your workout swole on? Is it the music? The apparel? Are you just trying to figure out what ‘getting your swole on’ means?
No worries, we’ve got you.
If you think #ballislife, if you #neverquit, if you believe in #squatsnotshots, or if you’re one of the thousands of #girlswholift, there’s a SwoleBandz wristband for you.
Getting your swole on is a colloquialism that refers to getting buff, or working out and pumping up your muscles during or after a workout. It’s a thing, trust us. In fact, it’s such a thing that people often talk and comment about it; like, “I can’t hang right now, I’ve gotta go get my swole on,” or “Wow, looks like you’ve seriously been getting’ your swole on.”
And if you’re an even more inspired athletic enthusiast, you can tout just how you get your swole on with SwoleBandz – motivational wristbands that sport (pun intended) popular workout and athletic phrases.
When asked what sparked the idea for the company, SwoleBandz founder, Abba Onyeani, explained how motivational reminders are super important to him and other athletes he knows to stay fit.
SwoleBandz:
Motivational wristbands that sport popular workout and athletic phrases.
“As a workout enthusiast myself I know how hard it can be to stay continually motivated, you know. When you want to stay inspired, stay on your grind, you need reminders. Wearing that inspiration on your wrist is a helpful reminder of what you believe in and who you want to be. It helps you get off the couch and go for that run, or hit the basketball court, or the weights.”
The axioms on the company’s wristbands are derived from popular hashtags that stand for overcoming adversity, even against the toughest of challenges. Whether that be physical challenges, discrimination challenges, or personal challenges.
The phrases are all about self-empowerment. They’re intended to convey that it’s not about being the most muscular but, instead, being the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. That at the end of the day, the only person you should be concerned with being better than is the person you were yesterday.
The fairly nascent company is just getting going. They’re in the process of adding new wristband styles and colors to their line as well as other workout product offerings like hats, shorts, and leggings.
It’s about being the best version of yourself that you can possibly be.
Onyeani says he has relationships with professional athletes that he’ll be leveraging to make SwoleBandz a household (or gym) name. In addition, the company also has an ambassador program with a commission component included that allows ambassadors to get paid from their referrals of new customers who purchase SwoleBandz products.
