Idea Competition – Judging Criteria

We’re looking for the biggest idea with the best-defined roadmap to success.
Ideas at every stage and of every kind can have big potential. Here are a few things to consider:

1. How big of a problem does the product solve?
Under the Problem section of the Idea, concisely describe the problem that the product solves. Tell us how big the problem is by explaining how many people have the problem and what it costs them.
2. How well does the product solve the problem?
Under Solution section of the Idea, concisely describe how the product solves the problem. Tell us how well the product solves the problem by explaining the estimated cost of the solution and who else is solving the problem, what they provide, and for what price.
3. How well do the docs, if any, support the idea?
Add docs that help to better describe your Idea and how it can become a success. Consider adding market research, idea validation, product sketches, mockups, and other images.
4. How has collaboration helped the idea?
Consider inviting people to your team. You can collaborate on your Idea through commenting and favoriting. You can also make your Idea public so that everyone can find your Idea, request access, and help out.
5. Do the goals and tasks adequately outline a roadmap to success?
Every business has a product to sell, and every product starts with an Idea. Turning your Idea into a viable business means knowing what goals need to be accomplished. Create goals and tasks that outline the major activities on your roadmap to success.
